Holding a bachelor of science degree from the United States Naval Academy in Maryland, John Guandolo studied engineering and became company commander in the first semester of his senior year. Working as vice president of the Strategic Engagement Group in national security, John Guandolo provides analysis and information pertaining to current and potential U.S. threats. He has also served as a board member of the Centennial Institute.
Based in Lakewood, Colorado, the Centennial Institute is a conservative organization that shares ideas about family, faith, and freedom. As part of the Colorado Christian University, the Centennial Institute publishes a monthly newsletter and hosts regular events about current issues and fundamentals.
To be held in July, the Centennial Institute will support the Western Conservative Summit in Denver, Colorado. Recognized as the largest assembly of the nation’s conservatives, speakers at the conference will include Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, and Donald Trump, along with other influential conservatives and media personalities. The Centennial Institute’s Shining City scholarship recipients can attend the Western Conservative Summit for free.
